Feeding the fries: The fries are allowed the stay unfed until after 48hrs of coming to life or until they free themselves from underneath the vat (pond) and begin to swim about. Fries are fed with artemia, the artemia should be sparingly sprinkled for the fries because they eat little at the beginning. Feeding should be carried out at three hours interval, because it takes them averagely three hours to digest the food and be ready for another feeding. The artemia should be given to the fries for the first 2 – 3 weeks of their lives before changing to 0.5 – 0.8mm fish starter.
