Intellisys is in the process of redesigning its website with the objective of making it more contemporary and user friendly for potential customers to search and find relevant information.


Additional Objectives include:


  • Strategies to drive traffic to the web site.

  • Generate Business Leads

To accomplish this project the Kellogg student consulting team will undertake the following:



  • Conduct a High Level Study and make recommendations on the layout and the look and feel of the Intellisys corporate web site.

  • Based on the feedback/review, prepare/revise contents of the various pages of the website.

  • Collect Data on “Best Practices” for B2B Internet Marketing of IT Services.

  • Recommend a strategy which will appeal to and generate leads for Intellisys’s target market/ service offerings.

  • Suggest a feedback mechanism to TEST the strategy for its effectiveness.

  • Review the revised website and validate the design and implementation.

Project Description

The Kellogg student consulting team will assist the development process of a prototype of a new social impact assessment platform based on a prediction market mechanism.

To deliver this project, the consulting team’s work will consist of:


  • Conducting a high-level study of relevant literature to understand major requirements and restrictions in applying a prediction market mechanism to social impact assessment

  • Recommending about the target segment of organizations (e.g. for- or non-profit status, issue area, geography, size) to be included in social impact assessment in the initial experiments

  • Defining key parameters (e.g. the number and types of prediction market participants, types of incentives, initial information distribution, formulaic valuation vs Gestalt valuation) to be tested in empirical experiments of the prediction market

  • Conducting and collecting data from empirical experiments of the prediction market

  • Developing recommended strategies for marketing a new social impact assessment platform to incentivize people’s participating in the prediction market

50% of all live event tickets go unsold and TIXEM is tacking this problem by offering FREE live event ticketing and Mobile Connection. The company’s technology allows:




  • Any promoter to sell tickets on the TIXEM website for FREE within minutes

  • Fans to sign up for text alerts and the ability to purchase tickets right over their mobile

  • A full suite of mobile marketing products.

Between these mobile technologies and its Facebook app, TIXEM is redefining ticketing and the live event experience. The company was founded by Kellogg Alums and a current Kellogg student.


Project Description

Like any new technology company, TIXEM’s business model has gone through rounds of refinement based on the feedback gained from launching into the market. Now as it enters the next phase of company growth, TIXEM would like to have its business model reviewed and optimized using: market research and best practices of others in the space, analysis of the data generated by the company to date, investor and external advisor feedback, etc. Particular attention should be paid to pricing per product line, partnerships in place, sales targeting and positioning, and efficient use of the company’s finite resources.
