Brown leather belt with rolling D/Claw buckle, brown leather leggings and a small brown leather rectangular shaped instrument or map case (missing securing strap). These forces largely made up of Vichy Forces in the Mediteranian during WW2 including actions against Australians in Syria. Grade II- $1500

5060 GB Irish Lord Lieutenant's Full Dress Uniform. C/1900-1902. A lovely full set of regalia attributable to W. Chaine Esq. A land owner of some eminence in the county of Ulster. Full dress scarlet coatee decorated on the collar and cuff with silver bullion embroided shamrock designs. Kings crown silver buttons and provision for full dress epaulettes. Unfortunately the inside collar lining is missing and some light moth grazing to the outside. Full dress black trousers with Irish silver bullion lace down the sides again with a shamrock pattern. Leather backed silver bullion full dress sword belt with sword frog and w/m buckle bearing a large shamrock. Lord Lieutenant's cocked hat with silver bullion shamrock lace and silver k/c button . QVC Higgs and son hat maker logo inside. Unfortunately missing the white cock feathers. White leather gloves of the period with light soiling. Lord Lieutenant's full dress silver and gilt bullion epaulettes in fantastic condition with all bullion tassels and QVC buttons contained in their padded japanned tin. Full dress court sword with etched blade bearing "VR" cypher. Gilt fittings, wire bound grips and gilt bullion sword knot. Black leather scabbard with gilt fittings and c/w a black oilcloth sword bag. All this contained in a large black japanned trunk with brass name plate to top engraved "W Chaine Esq". Grade II $1950

5061 GERM WW2 1935-1937 PATTERN RAD. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER'S SERVICE DRESS TUNIC AND TROUSERS FOR RANK OF FELDMEISTER. (Equivalent to Army Leutnant). Open necked earth brown tunic with a dark brown collar. 2X pleated aluminium buttoned breast pockets and 2X concealed hip pockets with slanted aluminium buttoned flaps. Four aluminium button closure to front. French cuffs. Twin aluminium buttons to slash at rear seam. Forest green velvet and silver bullion collar parches. Shoulderboards with aluminium bars with black 'chevrons'on a forest green underlay. Officer's silver bullion embroidered assignment shield, (5th section, 15th Group) Woollen multi-piece construction Swastika arm- band and Officer's silver bullion embroidered sleeveshield for section administration, all sewn to the left sleeve. Loops present for short medal bar and two awards to the left pocket. Brown rayon lining to the interior with internal waist adjustment straps. Striped lining to interior of sleeve. No maker's label present. Waist size about 92cm. Tunic shows little, if any wear, in near mint condition. Matching earth brown long trousers with a 2mm dark brown stripe down each outer seam. Trousers have a period alteration to the waistline. Some light areas of soiling to trouser legs. An impressive looking tunic, seldom seen in Australia. Grade II. $1900

5062 ITALY WW2 TUNIC, TROUSERS AND CAP FOR A MAJOR-GENERAL OF the General Staff. Grey 4 pocket SD tunic With brown bakelite buttons, bullion collar stars, silver bullion cuff rank of Maj-General, red piping to cuffs, 9 place ribbon bar with devices, bullion crown above ribbons for promotion due to Meritorious Service. Bright blue chest sash and leather belt with small beretta holster. Not named but makers label on tunic lining. Also c/w matching jodphers, with wide black stripewith a thin centre red stripe. Also matching field cap with black emb. Cap eagle and rank insignia for Maj-General. Scarce and desirable. $2000

5063 ITALY 1930-WW2 FEMALE FASCIST YOUTH (GIL) UNIFORM. White cotton blouse, with plastic GIL members badge. Woven No '11' collar disks. C/w black skirt and black bonnet/silk beret. Extremely scarce item. Grade II- $450

5066 USA WW2 UNIFORM GROUP: Consists of Olive Green Tunic dated 1940 By. Benjamin Clothing Co. Complete with all brass buttons and Air Force HQ Shoulder Patch. Size 38 in Chest, short fitting; Trousers 1942 dated with a number of small moth holes. O/G, O/R's Peaked Cap with brass US Cap Badge. Hat has approx 15 small moth nips. The rest of the hat is in great condition. Size 6 7/8 and 'styled By. Lewis'. Also included is a hand knitted olive green neck scarf A light buff coloured neck tie, A O/G Garrison Cap (size 6 7/8) and 2 small moth holes to rear. As well there are two more shoulder patches. A well used one of "The 5th Air Force" and another "Air Force HQ, Washington". All comes complete in a small leatherette suitcase from the same serviceman. A number of spare large brass buttons are included (Greatcoat type?) collar insignia is for chemical branch of service. Interesting Uniform lot. Grade II- $650

Tunic with bullion cord epaulettes, gilt Officers Staff buttons, yellow lapel facings, gold braid Austrian type cuff knots rank of Lieutenant Colonel with yellow piping, and 8th Cavalry gilt badges, (clutch grip backs). With waist coat and trousers, these of Royal blue with yellow strips. O/a Grade II- $450

Has black plastic American Red Cross buttons, brass "ARC" collar badges and brass & En. Red Cross distinctive insignia collar badges. Also has four silver bullion overseas service bars to left hand cuff. Size 38R. Comes with service dress belt. Matching trousers and side cap with "Military Welfare" brass & En. Red Cross Cap Badge. Rank Bands on epaulettes (red band with single gold bullion stripe). YMCA style "Australian" woven titles (red on khaki) sewn on shoulders. Miniature double diamond colour patches for "North Australian Observer Unit". Has press studs for attaching ribbon band. Not named. Comes with service dress belt. Waist size about 82cm. Interestingly the collar badges and clutch grip reverse and are lapel badge size. Grade II $650

5072 AUST WW2 SERVICE DRESS TUNIC BELONGING TO BRIGADIER HAROLD B. TAYLOR MC AND BAR. Lovely tailored Summer light khaki four pocket tunic. AMF oxy buttons. Oxy rank for Brigadier (small size and missing one of the crowns) collar gorgettes 12 place ribbon bar including MC/Bar. 37 and 53 coronations Named to "Brig. Taylor 29/11/45" on tailors label. Comes with service dress belt. H.B. Taylor won the MC and Bar whilst as a Captain with the 19th Btn. During the first War serving in Egypt and France. A Brigadier during WW2 with the H/Q 22 Aust. Inf. Brigade. He was captured by the Japanese and P.O.W. Desirable Attributable item. Grade II+ $785

5074 AUST WW2 VOLUNTEER DEFENCE CORPS (VDC) EMs GREEN SD TUNIC. Has oxy Rising Sun collars, AMF buttons (missing one on cuff and collar securing button). Has KD partial lining and internal pocket. Made by Coultas & Sons 1942. Has a large tear to front of the lower RHS pocket and 2 very large holes (possibly burns) to the rear on the bottom RHS. O/w a very hard to find tunic. Grade III. $300

Button detached from front but included. Nice condition. Pte G W Kurtz enlisted 25 July 1940. Disch 11/ 21/45. Last posting was HQ 27 Bde.. Grade II- $450*

5110 GB WW2 ATS OTHER RANK'S ISSUE TUNIC. A good example worn by a Lance Corporal attached to the Royal Artillery. The Tunic is of the standard pattern complete with brass General Serice buttons and to the left breast a Royal Artillery grenade collar badge. To each arm, a Lance Corporal's chevron and hand embroidered Anti Aircraft Command formation badge. To the cuffs, a Good Conduct chevron and five service chevrons.
