Tip #2: Know Your Tongue

The tongue is the singers asset or enemy.

It is the only muscle in the whole body that is connected at one end, but free at the other.
Ever wonder... “Where does the tongue need to go when I sing”?
Let’s solve that mystery.
Most of the time, the tip of the tongue is best placed on the inside of your lower teeth. That’s where your tongue is supposed to be for all the vowels you’re singing.
If you need to lift your tongue to sing a “T”, or a “TH”, after you finish the consonant, you immediately need to get the tongue right back down where it’s supposed to be.
This should help you with better tone and your voice can resonate more, giving you a more open sound with better volume, and more quality.

Understand the way you talk and sing.
The Voice is a very delicate instrument. It can be damaged easily because it really is just a bunch of soft-tissue.

Drinking Alcohol and smoking can make your throat dry, leaving it more vulnerable to Damage.

When you voice is damaged you may
not be able to sing in your full range, or your voice
might cut in and out almost like a microphone with a bad wire.

Pay attention to how your throat feels after a few times singing through a song, and if your start getting vocally worn out…. Take it easy until you build stamina.

Tip #4: Be A Master of Pitch

If you can’t sing on Pitch then you are just making noises…. Bad Ones.

This is one that everyone struggles with from time to time. Even the most accomplished singers in the world can miss a note now and then.

The key factor is to limit how often it happens.

Most often when singers lose pitch on a note it is due to a lack of breath support to sustain a steady note.

For a beginner, however, sometimes they just don’t recognize that there are off pitch. This is why you must always listen to yourself while listening to the music source so that you can match the two together throughout the entire song.

With more experience this becomes much much

easier.

Tip #5:Improve Your Posture

Keep your diaphragm in a good position. Or it can not open up the room for your lungs to expand.

Keep your chest high to begin with and when you breathe, expand your stomach to your sides.
