Stuck MIC ACP 3 A

(Blue – Advisory)

Airplane may be dispatched with ACP 3 indicating stuck MIC provided:

  1. Pilot and Copilot ACP’s are operative,

  2. OBSERVER ACP: REER, D-7, is pulled and collared,

  3. Affected ACP is not required as determined by the Pilot-in-Command,

  4. Flight Deck to cabin communication is operative,

  5. A passenger seat in the passenger cabin is made available to an FAA inspector for the performance of official duties,

  6. Alternate procedures are established and used,

  7. Required minimum safety equipment (safety belt and oxygen) is available,

  8. Seat is acceptable to the FAA inspector for performance of official duties, and

  9. Repairs are made within two (2) flight days.










NOTE 1: These provisos are intended to provide for occupancy of the above seats by an FAA inspector when the minimum safety equipment (oxygen and safety belt) is functional and the inspector determines the condition to be acceptable.










NOTE 2: The pilot-in-command will determine if the minimum safety equipment is functional for other persons authorized to occupy any observer seat(s).

Windshear 1-2 Fail A

Airplane may be dispatched provided:

a) At least one (1) radio altimeter is operative,

b) Alternate procedures are established and used,

c) Flight crew comply with AFM/AOM guidance in windshear situations and recommend procedures when encountering windshear, and

d) Repairs are made within two (2) flight days.
NOTE: Operator’s alternate procedures should include reviewing windshear avoidance and windshear recovery procedures.

a) L FREQ CONV: Left PDB or R FREQ CONV: Right PDB circuit breaker is pulled and collared,

b) Flight crew brief passengers on items that are inoperative with the failure of the power source for cabin entertainment, and

c) Backup battery is available if EFB is used.
