Army Substance Abuse Program A personnel program that includes deterrence, prevention, and education services. The ASAP is responsive to the chain of command and supports the combat readiness of the Army. Army Substance Abuse Program records Forms, records, or other documents required by this regulation. Career For the purposes of this regulation, an Army career is defined as inclusive of all periods of service, including officer and enlisted Service or a combination of both, when the Soldier is subject to the UCMJ or a or territory military code of justice.
