To revise previous new words. Students stand in a circle and give the ball to each other saying new words.
- Teacher presents learning objectives using WALT,
- To learn 19 new words about the room and prepositions. Teacher uses 3 by 3 drilling strategy .
- Teacher shows the video. Watching the video students will repeat the new words and revise the structure There is/ are.

Task 1 (W) Speaking “Fan-and-Pick” (Differentiation by support)
Teacher shows the picture. Teacher gives some questions about the room. Students choose the questions and answer it.



  • What room is this?

  • How many lamps are there in the room?

  • How many beds are there in the room?

  • What colour are the pillows?

  • Where are the lamps? Etc.

Descriptor: a learner
- uses topic vocabulary;
- describes his/her room in 3-4 sentences;
- uses adjectives in the comparative and superlative forms;
