As mentioned, each year we take an offering at every Summit venue in the Western world to help support GLS locations in developing countries where it would be impossible for them to finance such an event themselves. … I think you get some sense of why that ministry is so special around here and just this one word to mainly pastors. There are families in every community with special needs kids - every community. And this is something that church ought to view as an opportunity to love and serve and spread joy and encouragement. Regardless of where you are placed, leadership is hard work. It’s not easy and it’s not for the faint hearted, but it’s a blessing and gift that God has entrusted to us. Our prayer for this event is that we would be better equipped to do what God has called us to do. The stakes are too high and the challenges are too great for you and me to think that we can do this on our own. No matter what our experience or background is we all need to take our leadership responsibilities and development seriously. There is a Summit mantra that says: When a leader gets better, everyone wins. That’s why we challenge you to make the Global Leadership Summit a priority each year. Our final speaker is Louie Giglio and I think you are really going to enjoy hearing his message which is entitled Take the Step.
