Conditions Necessary for the Success of Democracy

The following conditions must be in place for the growth and success

of democracy in any modern state. These include

   Consistent economic development

   Existence and strict application of rule of law

   Adequate security of lives and properties
   
7. 
   Independent elcectoral body or commission
   

According to G.A. Almond and S. Verba, political culture is the pattern of individual attitudes, beliefs, ideas and orientation of the members of a political system towards politics. The political culture of a nation affects the way its people and public officials act and react to conditions, structure, institutions, as well as the way they go about solving national problems. It also deals with the various reasons which conditioned the behaviour of the people in a political community.
