2013 Camp Card Sale



Why does Atlanta Area Council need the Camp Card?

  • Allows scouts a spring fundraiser to generate funds in preparation for Summer Camp

  • Relieves pressure for units to conduct a Spaghetti dinner, car wash, pine straw sale, etc…

  • Decreased income from traditional revenue sources

Details

  • Card sells for $5.00

  • Sponsors

Publix, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Waffle House, Bojangles, Dave & Buster’s, Six Flags Over Georgia, Great Clips and Whitewater Express

  • Selling in front of vendor locations

We are grateful to the vendors who have partnered with the Camp Cards. As a courtesy to them, please refrain from selling in front of our vendor locations

  • Timeline of Sale – February 27th – April 11th, 2013

  • Recognition for Scouts who sale certain number of cards:

Recognitions will be distributed once the unit has settled their account in full and submitted the Unit Order Tracking Sheet to council

Important Facts

  • Units return any unsold/undamaged cards

  • $2.50 commission for the units

  • Great deal for customer and/or parents for $5.00

  • Timing – spring fundraiser before summer camp

Distribution

  • Number of cards received per unit is determined based on the number of registered scouts 2 x 10. (Ex. Unit has 50 registered scouts. 502=25 x 10. Unit will receive 250 cards initially)

Additional Cards

  • Additional cards are available

  • Units can do incremental settlements throughout the sale

  • Units can receive additional cards equal to or lesser than the quantity paid for

(Ex. Unit received 400 cards. They pay for 100 cards Week 1. They are able to receive a maximum of 100 additional cards.)
