ABOUT THIS DIRECTORY

This is a directory of over 200 publicly funded programs that provide alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment and recovery services for California women and their children. The directory was developed by the Office of Women’s and Perinatal Services (OWPS) at the Department of Health Care Services with the goal of providing contact information for all AOD treatment and recovery programs that receive Perinatal Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SAPT BG) funds and/or Drug Medi-Cal funds that are set-aside specifically for treatment services for pregnant and parenting women. There are programs in California that serve women and their children but do not receive these funds. For a complete list by county of all non-medical alcoholism and drug abuse recovery or treatment facilities licensed and/or certified in California, contact the Resource Center at 1-800-879-2772 and request publication
