2015 DePere Select Players Go On to Play at The Next Level

Kelly Kent

Kelly is the starting goalkeeper for DePere High School. The Redbirds are among the top teams in the Fox River Classic Conference. She is one of two goalkeepers from the class of 2015 to receive a scholarship. In addition to DePere Select training and competition Kelly committed a great deal of time this past year to traveling to Stevens Point on a regular basis to get instruction from Eric Wiberg of Wisonsin Goalkeeper Academy.

Kayla Tabalske is also one of two goalkeepers from the class of 2015 to receive a soccer scholarship. She is also a member of the Bayport Pirates lady soccer team that is often among the leaders of the Fox River Classic Conference. Kayla was contacted by the Parkside coaching staff based on her team’s participation in the College Search Showcase Muscatine, IA. The tournament is one of a many showcase commitments the u18 team made.

Erin Hurst of Little Chute was signed by Parkside. An interesting fact about Erin is she chose to forego her spring high school season in favor of competing in club soccer with the boys. Erin played for Boys club team and in the spring and girls club team in the fall.
