Your Life’s Blueprints – Jeff Chambers

Using Symphony No. 9 Movement 1 by Ludwig Van Beethoven and originally music, Jeff Chambers has created a truly inspiring show. This is a show based on a speech delivered on October 26, 1967 by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In this speech, know as “Your Life’s Blueprint”, King challenged high school students to live life with purpose and conviction. To rise above hardship and become the best version of themselves. If you have the technical players in your band then this is the show for you! As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.

Paranormal Activity – Jeff Chambers

Paranormal events are phenomena described in popular culture whose existence is described to lie beyond normal experience or scientific explanation. The most notable paranormal beliefs include those that pertain to ghosts, extraterrestrial life, unidentified flying objects, psychic abilities or extrasensory perception. Freak out your audience with a show completely inspired by the concept of paranormal activity. Whether it’s a creepy television prop coupled with static sound samples or haunting images of a poltergeist, you’ll be surprised by how much you can do with a concept about unexplained activity. As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. Starry Night – Jeff Chambers

When we as humans stop and look up at a starry night, it can be a very intimidating feeling. The universe is such a massive place, and we are so small. Jeff Chambers has created a show inspired by “The Most Astounding Fact” by Neil Degrasse Tyson as well as Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting. Using music from Claude Debussy (Claire de Lune), Ludwig Van Beethoven (Moonlight Sonata) and original music by Jeff, this show is a general effect judge’s dream. Starry Night is a fantastic combination of great literature, great story-telling and crowd-pleasing moments. Its’ one of those shows that your audience will really connect with. Planets (The) – Jeff Chambers

When it comes to competitive marching band, it’s tough to beat Gustav Holst’s, “The Planets”. Jeff Chambers has been waiting for years to have the chance to arrange this show. His enthusiasm and excitement are evident from beginning to end. Your percussion section will absolutely love this show. Jeff has arranged mars, Jupiter, and Mercury into a seamless production. You are encouraged to create your own story and visual package to create a unique show. As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. Amusement Park – Dennis Eveland

Everyone loves going to an exciting amusement park where we can ride all the best thrill rides. In this creative production by Dennis Eveland you and your students can take your audience fun filled journey. “G Force” opens the show with a heart pounding roller coaster ride. Next, travel through a haunted house in “Scream”. Your audience can imagine floating down a river ride in “Great River Rapids”. And maybe you will have time to squeeze in one “Last Ride” before heading home. As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. Generations – Dennis Eveland

Generations by Dennis Eveland runs the gamut of music that represents our Grandparents, Children and Parents. “Fanfare for a New Generation” is a powerful opener that will catch the audience’s attention from the very start. “Red, Yellow, Black White” is a collage of familiar songs from our past that are familiar to all children. “Song for Parents/Into the Future” pays tribute to our Grandparents and Parents everywhere – you may even hear some familiar sounding 70’s music! Journey to Atlantis – Dennis Eveland

The mystery of the lost city of Atlantis still captures the imagination of millions. Was it real or just myth? Dennis Eveland has crafted a show that explores the hidden treasures of Atlantis. Dennis explains the four parts of his composition. I-Entrance into Grand Lakes takes us into Atlantis. II-The gods return to their land to find that the people are leading evil lives. III – The gods become enraged and destroy Atlantis, causing it to sink. IV-Resurrection brings hope that one day Atlantis will rise from the bottom of the sea. As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. Night at the Opera – Dennis Eveland

“A Night at the Opera” is guaranteed to be a hit for your marching band. Using popular (but certainly not stuffy) opera music, your audience will recognize these selections. Included music are: “Pagliacci”, “O Sole Mio”, “Carmen” and a rousing closer of “The William Tell Overture”. As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.


Rising Temperatures – Dennis Eveland

Rising Temperatures takes you and your audience on a musical trip through the various degrees associated within various climates. “32 Degrees” is chilling yet inviting. It is based on the classical sounds of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. “50 Degrees” has a lovely flute solo that introduces the movement. You can almost feel the gentle breeze. The weather gets much warmer in “90 Degrees”. Just imagine being on a tropical beach listening to a steel drum band. The show closes with “100 Degrees” where the tempos are scorching hot! Matador (The) – Dennis Eveland

Take a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to Spain and enter the life of a Matador. Using Spanish themes, and the opportunity of several soloists, this exciting show by Dennis Eveland depicts the Matador as he prepares for battle. This show promises to have your audience on their feet by the last note. The four movements are: “Entrance of the Matador”, “Prepare for Battle”, “The Battle Begins” and “Fiesta! (The Celebration). As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.


Music of Camille Saint Saens (The) – Dennis Eveland

Dennis Eveland has crafted this exquisite treatment of some of the greatest music of Camille Saint Saens. “The Organ Symphony” is an exciting way to begin this production. “Danse Macabre” is familiar, entertaining and fun to perform. You students and audience will love this movement. “The Swan” is a lovely way to showcase your best soloist and “Bachanale” is a very exciting conclusion to this production. This is a perfect show for those of who love to teach and perform classical music. These arrangements are exciting enough for your football games, yet suited very well for competitions. To Russia with Love - Dennis Eveland

“To Russia with Love” combines popular themes associated with Russia. Dennis Eveland opens his production with a fanfare of “Polyvestian Dances” that segues into “Dance of the Tumblers”. Next up is two selections from the “Nutcracker” (“Valse de Fleurs” and “Trepak”). Your percussion section will enjoyed being featured! The show closes with Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture”. This is a perfect show for those of who love to teach and perform classical music. These arrangements are exciting enough for your football games, yet suited very well for competitions. Life – Dennis Eveland

Using original and orchestral works, Dennis Eveland has created a composition that explores birth, love, death and celebration. Movement I (Birth) is an original composition that is fast driving and represents the excitement a family feels when a new child is brought into the world. Movement II (Love) uses “Polyvestian Dances” by Borodin. This can be a real show piece for your guard! Movement III (Death) is based on Berloiz’s “March of the Scaffold” and portrays the musical emotions felt when we lose a loved one. Movement IV (Celebration) uses an upbeat treatment of Beethoven’s famous “Hymn to Joy” to bring this show to a joyous end! As with any Center X Production show, visual concepts can be changed to fit the needs of your group.
