I. General Information:
LLAB 1 and PT 1B will consist of commanders call, cadet briefings, health and wellness briefing, field training briefing, in-processing, and flight time. In-processing will consist of height & weight, pictures, and personal data input. All cadets need to bring a form of ID that has a magnetic strip to LLAB. Cadets will maintain a “sense of urgency” while transiting and while proceeding through the in-processing line. All cell phone and watch alarms will be silenced; if they cannot be silenced, they will be stored in the locker room. The wingman concept (same gender) will be enforced.
II. Activity Stations:
Commander’s Call:
During the briefings, if called upon to ask a question or make a statement, cadets will rise to the position of attention and state the following: “Sir/Ma’am, Cadet (Name), (Phonetic Letter) Flight, question/statement).”
Lt. Col. Gordon will cover the following topics:
-
Warning signs and signals of depression and impending suicide
-
Steps that can be taken by cadets to intervene in or report impending suicide

UH 1000 Seating:
Alpha will enter UH1000 through the left set of doors (lower left doors on the map). Bravo will enter UH1000 through the right set of doors (lower right door on map). When leaving the auditorium, cadets will proceed out starting with the rows at the back of the auditorium and moving backward.
Cadet Briefings:
During the briefings, if called upon to ask a question or make a statement, cadets will rise to the position of attention and state the following: “Sir/Ma’am, Cadet (Name), (Phonetic Letter) Flight, question/statement).”
In-Processing:
In-processing will consist of one line that starts with the Height and Weight station, proceeds to the picture station, then to the computers for personal data input. Cadets will enter the door across from the female changing room and exit the entrance to the detachment. FTP/AS200 cadets are EXPECTED to use proper customs and courtesies at all times during In-Processing to set the example for the new cadets. FLT/CCs will also designate an area for cadets finished with in-processing to wait outside
the detachment. Ideas for this area include the escalators outside the detachment
In Processing
or the flight time area used for in-processing. All POC not assigned to a specific assignment will
help the /flow of traffic between stations and/or will be assigned to help where they
are needed.
