I. General Information:

LLAB 1 and PT 1B will consist of commanders call, cadet briefings, health and wellness briefing, field training briefing, in-processing, and flight time. In-processing will consist of height & weight, pictures, and personal data input. All cadets need to bring a form of ID that has a magnetic strip to LLAB. Cadets will maintain a “sense of urgency” while transiting and while proceeding through the in-processing line. All cell phone and watch alarms will be silenced; if they cannot be silenced, they will be stored in the locker room. The wingman concept (same gender) will be enforced.
II. Activity Stations:
Commander’s Call:

During the briefings, if called upon to ask a question or make a statement, cadets will rise to the position of attention and state the following: “Sir/Ma’am, Cadet (Name), (Phonetic Letter) Flight, question/statement).”

Lt. Col. Gordon will cover the following topics:

  • Warning signs and signals of depression and impending suicide

  • Steps that can be taken by cadets to intervene in or report impending suicide
