LOVE FEAST AND COMMUNION TODAY-Love Feast and Communion will be held as part of the Morning Worship Service. Worship will begin as usual at 11:00 A.M. in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the Morning Service, the Communion Service will begin, followed by the Feet Washing Service. A Communal Meal will be held in the Social Hall. The Bread and Cup Communion will conclude the Love Feast.
THE NEXT AID FOR FRIENDS COOK-IN-This Tuesday, beginning at 9:30 A.M. There is great satisfaction in helping other people, so come and join us!
TOP OF THE HILL IS HOLDING ITS ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE-This Wednesday, October 4. There will be NO BIBLE STUDY!
THIS YEAR’S DISTRICT CONFERENCE-Is being held at Elizabethtown College on October 7 and 8. The moderator this year is David Stauffer who has chosen the theme, “Wisdom From Above.” It is the hope and expectation that in worship, business and fellowship, the Holy Spirit will guide the conference and that it will demonstrate the characteristics of people living with the wisdom that comes from above. OUR NEXT CHURCH BOARD MEETING-Is next Sunday, October 9, after the morning Worship Service. Please try to attend this meeting whether you are a board member, or not. Thank you!
THE LAST MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT IS-Our fall Congregational Business Meeting will be Wednesday, October 19, starting at 7:30 P.M. If you have any information that needs to be typed or copied, please turn it into the church office as soon as you can. We are counting on all of you to come and take part in the business of First Church.
