The title and exhibition was curated by Camilla Boemio, resume the theoretical hinges of the cult work of Gene Youngblood (Los Angeles/Saint Fé New Mexico), in which the traces between cinematographic experimentation and video research are analysed.
The parallel thesis developed by Camilla Boemio sees a notable change in the wheels of the contemporary arts (video art being the most obvious), that for years was snubbed for its cinema language, of fashion and the variety show in which today we count and rely on.
MNEMOSYNE – The Atlas of immages (video art collective – photography) Centro Arti Visive Pescheria (one of the most important museum in Italy) in collaboration with the 45th Festival of Cinema of Pesaro 2009.
The current exhibition reinterprets in a contemporary key the cult text of historical art Aby Warburg: MNEMOSYNE – L’ Atlante. The works, never completed, has always been rolled up in mystery and fascination.
She selected international artists(Steven Klein, Biorn Melhus, Candice Breitz, Christelle Lheureux, Klaus Thymann, Clemens von Wedemeyer, Gaston Ramirez Feltrin, Tony Oursler, Guido Van Der Werve, Richard Kern), and national (Andrea Dojmi, Stefano Graziani, Nico Vascellari, and the Alterazioni video group) the video works (with the exception of the photographic works) most interesting and pertinent to the analysed concept, during the last years. In addition to this, many works are also presented which are unpublished , in Italy , amongst those we recall are “Smother” by Luis Gispert and “Romantic delusions” by Jesper Just and, “The Soft Epic, or: Savages of the Pacific West”, by Nadia Hironaka and Matthew Suib and “Purified by fire” of Matthew Suib.

A travel in the contemplation and the city exploration. A participating collective of some of the most famous European photographers who have dedicated to own artistic search to the industrial landscape and the city areas, which they go on to point out: Gabriele Basilico, Marco Zanta, Michael Wolf and Peter Schloer. Double tones of reading of the concept analyzed with an attention to the video art with several intense activities, from two of the most interesting international video artists of the last years, they have reinterpretated the topic of the city architectures: Damir Ocko with “The end of the World” (2007) , Shaun Gladwell “In a Station Of The Metro” (2008) and Dmitry Gutov with “Flat to flat” – “Demonstration”.
“CABBAGE” exhibition (photography) Antichi Forni - Macerata January - February 2010 , with the artists : David Stuart and Sandy Skoglund .
The exhibition Cabbage derives from an analytical interest on my part for transposing a certain kind of art in the world of illusion, of representation and idealisation.
Do you recall the laughter, when as children we used to play a game in which we said: If I were a vegetable (or a colour, or animal) what would you be ? Surrealists loved to rewrite children's games in such a way as to record adults' desires in them .
I love to think that my choices as curator spring from these impulses: the search and desire for the knowledge of a child approaching Contemporary Art.
