INSELTOWN TATTLER…

When LINDSAY LOHAN was on the verge of being slapped with an arrest warrant last week, she and her team called former lawyer Shawn Holley and begged and pleaded with her to re-join her legal team. According to TMZ, Holley found out how much money Lindsay had coming in and only agreed to return if those checks were sent directly to her until she was paid the $150,000 owed for her services. Lindsay had no choice but to agree and it’s a good thing she did because it was Holley that arranged for her trip to Betty Ford and the judge says it saved Lindsay from jail. However, Radar Online is saying that Lindsay already wants out of the Betty Ford Center. A source says Lindsay wants to go to either a treatment center in Hawaii, Crossroads Centre in Antigua, or the Lukens Institute in Florida. Lindsay has already asked Holley to clear the switch with the City Attorney.
The sex tape starring TEEN MOM FARRAH ABRAHAM has hit the street, but she says she won't be checking it out and she would like you not to talk to her about it. Among those that are talking about it are the haters, who are mostly voicing concern for Farrah’s young child. Also chiming in were fellow Teen Mom stars Kaily Lowry, who tweeted: “I wish Farrah’s porno title had nothing to do with Teen Mom. Not all of us want to be associated with that” and Catelynn Lowell, tweeting: “All I have to say is she sounds like a dying horse!! U know who I’m talking about.” However, it looks like Farrah could have the last laugh as she just signed a six-figure deal to endorse a weight loss pill called Raspberry Tones.
Apparently sex and crazy sells! AMANDA BYNES has passed the one-million follower mark on Twitter! Amanda’s bizarre tweets, her recent revelation that she’s had a nose job and near-naked selfies have increased her following dramatically in the last few months.

INSELTOWN TATTLER 2…

Another Schwarzenegger is in trouble and this time it’s not Arnold! PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER used a fake ID to get into the Sayers Club in Hollywood over the weekend and promptly started acting like a jerk. Patrick is only 19 and he might’ve flown under the radar had he not started pelting the DJ with ice cubes. That caught the attention of managers, who then recognized Patrick, realized he was underage and tossed him. After he got the boot, TMZ shot footage of Patrick ranting about wanting to beat up the DJ. Patrick wasn't arrested, but using a fake ID is a misdemeanor in California, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. Patrick continued to rant outside about beating up the DJ, and then he was barred from getting into a waiting SUV.
It turns out that the Atlanta Police Department cap that REESE WITHERSPOON was seen wearing following her arrest wasn’t the real deal. The APD says it was a knockoff and a pretty bad one at that!
Girls Gone Wild founder JOE FRANCIS has been found guilty on five charges over an attack on a woman in his Hollywood mansion back in 2011. Three women had accused Francis of taking them back to his place after a night out and refusing to let them leave. One of the women claimed he slammed her head into his tile floor. Francis was also convicted of three counts of false imprisonment, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting and faces up to five years in jail.
Apparently there are some guys out there willing to take a chance on a woman from Match.com that’s handy with knives. MARTHA STEWART says she’s found five possible significant others after her profile received more than 20,000 views and 1,000 messages.

INSELTOWN TATTLER 3…

American Idol runner-up CRYSTAL BOWERSOX and her husband, musician Brian Walker, are calling it quits after two-and-a-half years. After a whirlwind courtship and an engagement that only lasted a few weeks, the couple tied the knot in front of 60 friends and family members in Chicago in 2010.
The British press is reporting that PRINCE HARRY is telling friends that PRINCE WILLIAM and DUCHESS KATE MIDDLETON are expecting a boy. That would back up earlier reports about Kate taking delivery of a blue baby carriage. They’re also saying the inner circle all know it’s a boy and have been buying appropriate gifts.
DAME HELEN MIRREN stormed out of London’s Gielgud Theatre in mid performance of the play The Audience to order a troupe of dancing drummers outside to pipe down! The drummers were said to be stunned, especially since Mirren was in full costume in her role as the Queen and she hurled a number of expletives their way. If that weren’t bizarre enough, she was joined by Prime Minister David Cameron, played by Rufus Wright.
Apparently all that drama between ALEC BALDWIN and SHIA LABEOUF over their planned run in the Broadway play Orphans wasn’t worth the fuss. LaBeouf dropped out of the play after getting into an e-mail feud with Baldwin, but Orphans will be closing after just 27 previews and 37 regular performances.
The inspiration for MARGE SIMPSON has passed away. Margaret Groening, wife of Homer, and mother of Simpsons creator MATT GROENING died at the age of 94. Along with Matt, Marge and husband Homer had siblings Mark, Lisa and Maggie, but no Bart. However, Margaret’s maiden name was Wiggum, as in Chief Wiggum.

HE WATERCOOLER…

Three young women who went missing in separate cases about a decade ago were found alive in a residential area of Cleveland yesterday, just a few miles from where they disappeared. Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued after Amanda made a 911 call after escaping. Police said a 52-year-old man and two of his brothers were arrested and some reports say the women had been held in the house the entire time. There had been periodic tips to their whereabouts, but none ever panned out. Police are still gathering details and aren’t saying much for now.

UH…

Air Force Lt. Col Jeffrey Krusinski was arrested early Sunday in Arlington, Virginia on charges of sexual assault. It’s especially embarrassing for the Air Force as Krusinski is the officer in charge of the Air Force’s sexual assault prevention program. At least he was in charge until he was removed from his post, pending an investigation into the allegations.
Dickson City, Pennsylvania’s Carolyn James set up a live webcam to keep an eye on her 96-year-old mother. It’s lucky for her mom that she did. In Chicago, Mark Gruss was researching webcams when he stumbled upon the open feed from Carolyn’s living room and saw her slapping, grabbing and screaming at her mom, saying such things as, "You want a broken arm? I'll break it!" Mom didn’t respond to the threats as she has stage four Alzheimer’s and can’t speak. Carolyn now has a lawyer speaking for her as Mark alerted authorities and she faces assault charges.

An unnamed North Carolina man was cleaning his gun on his porch. Our friend took every precaution to make sure the gun was pointed in a safe direction in case it was loaded. It turns out there was a round in the gun and it was pointed in a safe direction for everyone except 10-year-old Zack Reno. The sharp shooter fired the gun, striking Zack, who was some 1,200 feet away. Zack was treated and released at a local hospital and ol’ dead eye won’t be prosecuted.

Memphis police officer Jonathon Bond was chasing a driver he suspected of not wearing a seatbelt. Luckily, Officer Bond was wearing his seatbelt as he lost control of his patrol car on Elvis Presley Boulevard after catching a guide wire and wound up perched vertically against a utility pole. Luckily, Officer Bond was uninjured. However, motorists that slowed down to gawk weren’t as fortunate as Officer Bond’s co-workers ticketed them for slowing down traffic.

O’ DUH…

A couple of unnamed Kingwood, Texas teenagers thought it would be fun to make an explosive device and go to a nearby bayou to blow up turtles. Before the animal rights crowd becomes outraged, they can relax in the knowledge that karma has settled matters on their behalf. On their way to the aforementioned bayou, one of the boys decided to enjoy a cigar. At some point the ashes from his cigar fell near his pocket where he was carrying the explosive cartridges, which set off the bomb, causing him to suffer severe injuries to his hand, lower extremities and face.
Dave’s not all here, man…A Wilmington, North Carolina man, who identified himself only as ‘Dave,’ called 911 saying he wanted to file a police report after he met with his dealer and gave him $80 for drugs. Dave said the dealer took the money and told him he’d go get the drugs and meet him later, but never showed up. Dave also mentioned that he had bought drugs from the dealer before that weren't up to his standards as they didn’t even get him high, adding that he was waiting on this guy to do the right thing.
Brookfield, Illinois 58-year-old Erin James was stopped by police for speeding. When the officer noticed the smell of alcohol on her, he took Erin in for a breath test and she was found to be at nearly twice the legal limit. Erin admitted to the officer that she’d been out celebrating the imminent return of her driver’s license, which had been suspended after an earlier drunk driving conviction.
Unlike most 14-year-old boys, one unnamed Chicago kid wanted a babysitter. It seems the kid wanted someone to put him to bed and found a website where 22-year-old Dareka R. Brooks was offering such services for a nominal fee. The kid arranged for Dareka to come to his home and when she arrived she instructed him to go into a bedroom and remove his pants. The kid eagerly agreed and a fully-clothed Dereka soon joined him, gave him a shot of pepper spray and stole his iPad and a piggy bank and fled. The kid got her license number and police got Dereka after she turned on the iPad and activated its tracking device.
