Mr. Jha is a senior technology architect with Infosys Public Services and has 20+ years of experience in information technology industry. The DC HBX is implementation of Affordable Care Act for citizens, small businesses, brokers and insurers of the District of Columbia commissioned in use on Oct 1st 2013. The solution emphasizes standards-based interoperability with external data sources, including federal databases, commercial issuers (using SERFF), public reporting systems, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and other Department of Human Services systems.



  • Gathered specific BI requirements for system data, KPI definition, trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and aggregation of eligibility, enrolment and health plan data such as - cost breakdowns per individual, employee (SHOP),employer, Plan data, Individual and employee financial data, Premium and CSR subsidy data, Enrolment data, Enrolee’s demographics

  • Coordinated between the DWH team and the Business to define report deliverables, issues, questions, needs, trends, and timing

  • Technical Leadership- Lead a $225,000 initiative to replace an in-house developed Rate Change Management Tool by adding a customized UI in Sales Force (SFDC) as required by Sales Reps using abstraction layers to expose various services integrated with the defined approval workflow logic in BPM. Solution improved audit trail and reduced the rate change time from a week to 2 days with remote flexibility to sales representatives for rate negotiation.

  • Cost Saving Measures- Replaced Shareplex Replication solution by Oracle’s Transportable Tablespace Solution (TTS) and saved $500,000 on annual license cost.

  • Managed six-person team to prototype design the SAP Plant Maintenance System for Sanitation Order Types at Schwan’s Salina Location.

  • The pilot project on completion was expected to serve as template for other bakery plants and the location had potential savings of nearly $200,000 annually in labor and supplies.

  • Automated material item’s master data transfer from SAP R/3 transaction system to Schwan’s warehouses using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) allowed Distribution Services to integrate, process and audit freight data from existing and future business units.
