The limit indicates allocations issued to MDA. Funds are allocated by OSD Comptroller to MDA in Limit 2500. MDA sub-allocates to itself and other Operating Agencies using the limits listed below. 2. 3. Budget Activities: MDA manages Procurement funds by Budget Activity. Budget Activities are categories within each appropriation and fund account to identify the purpose, projects, or type of activity financed by the appropriation. MDA categorizes funds by Budget Activity (BA) 01 (Major Equipment), 02 (Special Operations Command), and 03 (Chemical/Biological Defense). Budget Activities include all resources directly involved in accomplishing MDA missions and submissions. 4. MDA Limit/Sub-Limit: The limit indicates allocations issued to MDA. Limit “2500” indicates an allocation issued by OSD Comptroller to MDA. MDA sub-allocations to other Operating Agencies (OAs) also using the limits listed below.
Manager Resource Reference Number (MRRN). DAI Line of Accounting for Fiscal years and forward. The MRRN is the lowest level at which funding is controlled.
