DUE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2016

You (and a partner, if you choose) are to research ONE of the most famous criminal cases in which forensic science played a major role in how it was investigated or solved.

Your choice of cases must come from the following list:

Requirements

You YYou must have a full-size presentation poster (22’’ x 28’’) OR a digital presentation

indicating the following information:



  • Name(s) of the Perpetrator(s) or Suspect(s) [10]

  • Nature of the Crime(s) [10]

  • Geographic Location(s) of the Crime(s) [10]

  • Time Frame of the Crime(s) [10]

  • Important Forensic Evidence [20]

    • Be specific about the TYPES of items and KINDS of evidence

    • Why are these items essential to the case?

    • Include NON-VIOLENT pictures or photos

  • Outcome of Trial/Sentence [10]

  • “Where are they today?” [10]

Design

This should be NEATLY organized and COLORFUL.

Poster: Handwritten is OK, but typewritten is superior.



Digital: Two different easy-to-read typefaces for heading/body text, non-distracting theme/backgrounds, no slide transitions

Presentation

Yes, you will have to present this to the class. Both partners must speak, and we should be able to see the poster and the major headings from wherever we are seated.
