RETIREMENT LOOMING: Corey Smith hit .305 this year which is 36 points higher than he did last year. He has stated this will be his final year of professional baseball.
SOMERSET SLUMPING: The Patriots 3-4-5 hitters (Fox, Smith, Montanez) are a combined 7-for-49 which is a .143 BA with only two RBI.
DOMO TIME: Jeff Dominguez is hitting .385 in the postseason and has a RBI in each of the last three games

28 RETIRED: On June 14th, Manager Emeritus Sparky Lyle became the 1st ever Patriot to have his number retired. Lyle amassed 1,025 wins as Somerset skipper and won five AL championships. He was the first ever employee of the Somerset Patriots back in 1998.

STRIVE FOR SIX: The Somerset Patriots are the most successful baseball club in Atlantic League history winning League Championships in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009. The Patriots look to win that elusive sixth title in program history this year.
