As the son of an iconic drummer, Jason Bonham grew up performing for family friends ranging from Jimmy Page to the band Bad Company. By the time Jason turned 17 he was signed to Atlantic Records, recorded one album, and had opened for Meat Loaf, Ted Nugent, AC/DC, and Queen. After the tragic death of his father in 1980, Jason has stepped in from time to time to help keep his father’s memory alive. In fact, Jason took his father’s spot in the televised, first ever Led Zeppelin reunion at the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary Concert and has represented his father when Led Zeppelin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Amongst other accolades, Jason Bonham has starred the VH1 reality show “Super Group” with Ted Nugent, Evan Seinfeld, Sebastian Bach, and Scott Ian. The musicians formed a band called Damnocracy for the show, during which they lived in a mansion in Las Vegas for twelve days and created music. Most recently, The Led Zeppelin Experience has given Jason the opportunity to spread the music his father helped create to a new generation of fans. Long Island will spend an intimate night reminiscing in the music of the original Led Zeppelin.
