Objective:
PGA Golf Management student in pursuit of increasing my knowledge of the golf business, as well as providing outstanding customer service to all members and guests.
Work Experience:
Atlanta Country Club; Marietta, GA (May – November 2014); Assistant Golf Professional

Atlanta Country Club is an 18-hole private golf course that consists of 450 members. There are roughly 25,000 golf rounds played annually, including numerous company golf outings. Atlanta Country Club played host to the Atlanta Classic for 29 years, as well as hosted the inaugural Tournament Players Championship in 1974, won by Jack Nicklaus.


  • Assisted in the planning and running of all major calendar tournaments

  • Assisted in the running of the “50th Anniversary Pro-Am” which included 15 Champions Tour players

  • Performed individual and group lessons to approximately 7 juniors weekly ranging from ages 6-10

  • Provided instruction to approximately 45 junior golfers ranging from ages 4-16 in two, week long camps

  • Helped complete quarterly inventory checks for merchandise levels accumulating $180,000

  • Used inventory checks to create variance reports

  • Managed senior play days twice a week which included 8-20 players per event

  • Ordered and received merchandise for an inventory of approximately $180,000 with total sales of $455,000 from May 1st to December 31st

  • Assisted in setting up and running 2 corporate outings

  • Created standard operating procedures for financial checks and balances


Country Club of Jackson; Jackson, MS (May 2013 – August 2013); Outside Services
A 27-hole private golf course that consists of 1,100 members and averages 30,000 annual rounds played. The Country Club of Jackson first opened in 1914 and is considered the premiere club in Mississippi. It will also host the Sanderson Farms PGA Tour event starting in November of 2014.


  • Managed golf car fleet of 90 EZGO RXV cars

  • Maintained practice facility which included 56 hitting stations

  • Maintained short game area which included 3 short game greens and a putting green

  • Assisted in junior camps which had 82 total participants from ages 4-14 over 3 weeks

  • Performed starting tasks which included keeping turn times and pace of play

  • Executed opening and closing operations

  • Operated a bag room of 400+ bags
