ACM Digital Library: Access to the full-text of Association of Computing Machinery Journal, transactions, proceedings etc.
ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital library: Vast collection of industry-leading standards and technical engineering information, broad range of engineering disciplines.
Business Source Complete: Over 300 different titles related to engineering.
Engineering Village: Engineering Village is the most comprehensive database for engineering. You can search for journal articles, technical papers and conference proceedings. The material dates back to 1884.
IEEE Xplore® Digital Library: An excellent resource that provides indexing and full-text access to IEEE journal articles and conference proceedings.
Web of Knowledgesm: This has two very useful, scholarly, comprehensive databases within it: Web of Science and Journal Citation Index. Web of Science indexes peer reviewed journals. It is a good multi-disciplinary database.
ScienceDirect: Full-text access to over 2,000 peer reviewed journal titles.
Wiley Online Library: Access to over 4 million articles from 1500 journals, hundreds of reference works, laboratory protocols and databases.
Conference Proceedings
IEEE Xplore® Digital Library: Includes conference proceedings in full-text.
Web of Knowledgesm: Indexes proceedings of conferences.
British Library Integrated Catalogue: Has an index of UK conference proceedings.
Health and Safety
Barbour: Wide range of health and safety documentation, including legislation, regulations, standards and guidance.
Standards
BSO British Standards Online®: The library has access to all current British Standards in full-text via BSOnline. Eurocodes also included.
IEEE Standards: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers are available through IEEEXplore.
ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital library: A vast collection of industry-leading standards and technical engineering information.
ITU: International telecommunications union: They allocate global radio spectrum and satellite orbits, develop the technical standards.
Patents
Espacenet Patent Search, Esp@cenet: Worldwide coverage from 63 different countries.
Theses and Research
EthOS (Electronic Theses Online Service): Look here to find UK PhD theses which have been digitalised. If Ethos is unable to supply you with the theses please ask and we might be able to get it via the Interlibrary Loans service.
Bradford Scholars: Bradford Scholars is an online service designed to host the full-text of research materials produced by staff and MPhil/PhD students at the University of Bradford.

Past Exam Papers
Past exam papers are available via Blackboard. To access them log into Blackboard and click on ‘Past Exam Papers’ under ‘Student Organisations’.
