Hiff photography competition 2016 Entry Form

The theme this year is: A unique perspective on the seas of the Hebrides.

HIFF 2016 are seeking original and unusual photographs which capture the unique seas and coastal environments of the Outer Hebrides.
To ensure that your photograph/s are correctly entered into the competition please fill in the form below and send (to address below) or email your entries to muriel@ruralnations.com

by 12pm (midnight) on Saturday 17th September 2016

  Entry photographs can be colour or black and white and can be either printed images or online images.
  
• 
  Each applicant can submit up to 3 photographs.
  
• 
  Online images submitted should be no smaller than 800KB and no larger than 5MB.
  
• 
  Images should be either JPEG or TIFF files.
  
• 
  Links to files should be e-mailed or sent by Dropbox to muriel@ruralnations.com together with this entry form.
  
• 
  Images submitted as prints (any size but no larger than A3) should be sent or delivered with the entry form to Muriel Ann Macleod, Creative Director, Rural Nations Scotland CIC, 57 Westview Terrace, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1 2LD.

What happens to my entry photos?

  Rural Nations will confirm receipt of your entry by email.
  

• 
  Once all entries are received a panel of 3 professional photographer/artists will judge the photos and a shortlist of 12 pictures will be prepared. The 12 shortlisted photos will be exhibited by HIFF in An Lanntair Arts Centre. The photographers are invited to prepare/print their own prints of their pictures to a quality they are happy with and HIFF will arrange for exhibition framing.
  
• 
  Of the 12 shortlisted photos winners - First, Second and Third place will be selected in each category. The winning photographers in each category, children and adult will be presented with prize money.
  
• 
  Following the selection and exhibition the printed pictures will be returned to the photographers.
