School Support of the Principles of International Education C Statement on how Ridgeview Charter Middle School and Riverwood High School promote the principles of international education Ridgeview Charter Middle School and Riverwood High School enjoy a rich cultural diversity in their student populations, their staff and community. Along with the challenges that are inherent in serving a diverse population, both schools appreciate and celebrate the advantages our students enjoy as a result of this diversity. We find opportunities to positively highlight our diversity and celebrate the contributions that all of the many cultures have made in making our school cluster the home of Internation Education. Ridgeview Charter Middle School and Riverwood High School promote the principles of international education by; Supporting the students’ language development Recognizing the importance of global issues Providing a breadth and balance of education experience The adoption of an innovative approach to learning and teaching Showing respect for and appreciation of other cultures Each school celebrates the diverse student population through celebrations of: In addition, Riverwood High School is the only International Studies magnet high school in Fulton County.
