Rt. 1, Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach, DE Saturday, September 14, 2013 This regatta is open to all Laser and Sunfish sailors.
First warning will be at noon on Saturday. Registration 8 – 11 am; Advanced courtesy registration is recommended (but not required) by email or phone
Four races are scheduled. Racing will be governed by Racing Rules of Sailing, 2013-2016. Scoring system will be determined.
Laser and Sunfish will have separate starts. Radial fleet may have a separate start.
There is noregatta fee and dinner will be a “pot luck” affair. All sailors are kindly encouraged to bring a supper dish/appetizers and/or beverage. BYOB Rehoboth Bay Sailing Association is located on the Rehoboth Bay as part of the Inland Bays system of the Delmarva Peninsula in Sussex County, next to the Atlantic Ocean.. The launch area is a small beach in the shallow bay waters. RBSA was the venue for the 50 fleet, 2004 Laser Master’s Atlantic Coast Championships. Meet Sunfish sailors who qualified for the Sunfish Worlds to be held nearby at the Lewes Yacht Club.
Organized Laser sailing is returning to Delaware where the Sunfish are plenty.. Make this regatta a training event for districts regattas, Laser Masters NA’s, & Sunfish Worlds Please come to this “short notice” regatta for an easy day of sailing. Be a part of the “Delaware Laser Revival.”
