Shomigo bridges the gap between social media and e-commerce by consolidating the fashion e-commerce market and fostering social interactions between friends. We use strong machine learning to connect people to the latest from their favourite locate stores. Shomigo is a Toronto-based, start-up that is quickly growing. We are looking for people who are entrepreneurial-minded, quick-learners, and passionate about building the future of e-commerce. What is the role • Assist in the development of Shomigo’s branding and marketing strategy • Manage Shomigo’s social media pages (i.e. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.) • Create content and advertisements for different social media platforms • Participate in weekly team meetings remotely • Work with founders to establish and grow Shomigo’s brand and online presence What we’re looking for • Experience with social media ads or Google AdWords is preferred • Experience with content creation and video creation software (Figma, Canva, Photoshop, movie editing software etc.) • Enthusiastic, high-energy individuals • Able to work in ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment • A quick learner who is reliable, responsible, and willing to help out coworkers • Eagerness to learn and a constant willingness to collaborate
• Interested in the workings of an early-stage start up • Highly motivated when problem-solving and thinking creatively • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, verbal and communication skills • Strong time-management skills • Networking and relationship building is your natural way of working • Able to listen, capture information, ask questions and read between the lines Please note: We are looking for part-time or full time interns.
