Summary for Recipient: Kenny Thomas, junior center for Mid-Continent University (KY) totaled a season-high 23 points on 11 of 15 field goals, and grabbed a school-record 20 rebounds, 19 of them defensively, and also contributed a blocked shot as MCU won 90-81 over Crichton College (TN). Thomas has recorded double doubles in each of his last three games. In the second half, Thomas had 15 points and 12 rebounds as MCU erased a 41-38 halftime deficit and outscored Crichton, 52-40.

Summary for Recipient: Michawn Rich, senior forward for Geneva College (PA) single handedly kept her team in the game on Saturday night in a 65-55 loss to Bethany College. Rallying back from an 18 point first half deficit, Rich scored 20 points in the first half to pull Geneva within three points at the break. Rich ended the game with a career high 31 points and a career best 19 rebounds. The only senior on Geneva’s roster, Rich put her team on her back and go them back into a game that looked like was out of reach in the first six minutes. Rich also picked up 4 steals in the game. She was 12-27 from the field, including her first two three-point filed goals of the season.
