The Lighthouse Foundation has a mobile clinic that visits 34 sites throughout Georgia. At each clinic, qualifying individuals can receive a fully dilated eye exam and one pair of eyeglasses, which are produced at our Chamblee clinic. The clinics allow our Clinic Managers and partner doctors to diagnose and treat serious eye conditions before the client experiences permanent vision loss. Patients can also receive follow-up care for chronic eye conditions, such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.

A few reminders about the hearing aid program:

You will be contact via mail or email two-three weeks after we have received your application. This letter will inform you of your application status.

There is a co-payment associated with your hearing aids. It is based on the style of aid your provider recommends, as well as on your monthly income. There are no payment plans.
-
You may submit a hearing test from a non-Lighthouse approved provider with your application; however you will need to choose a Lighthouse-approved provider to move forward in the program. He or she will have to accept the hearing test you already have, or they will require you to get a new one with them. To be safe, try to get your hearing test done with a Lighthouse-approved provider.Please read our New Patient Letter & FAQs for more information.
