LODGING: The host hotel is the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta located approximately 2 blocks from the start. Athletes should call and make their own room reservation - be sure to indicate you are with the Shepherd Center Wheelchair Division of the Peachtree Road Race to get the discounted rate (see attached hotel information for their rates and phone number; please do not use the instructions on the foot race entry form).

TRAVEL PLANS: When you make your travel arrangements, make sure to keep the shuttle service schedule in mind. If your flight arrival or departure does not fall within shuttle service hours, transportation to/from the InterContinental Buckhead will be your responsibility. If this is your first Peachtree Road Race, be sure to arrive in time on the 3rd to view the course drive-through video.

BRUNCHES:
Pre-race social: Shepherd Center is offering a pre-race social at the InterContinental Buckhead at 2:00pm on July 3rd. All race instructions and last minute announcements will be given. Also, race packets, numbers, and seeding positions will be distributed. The social is free for athletes and $7.00 for guests. We strongly encourage you to attend this social so you will not miss out on any helpful information.
Post-race brunch: The brunch will be held at Shepherd Center and is free for athletes and $5.00 for guests. Prize money will be awarded as outlined in the attached proposed purse. All athletes winning prize money must be present at the brunch or the money will be forfeited. Following the brunch, transportation will be provided back to the InterContinental Buckhead.
