| POLICY STATEMENT ARN RECYCLING B.V.
ARN Recycling is a division of ARN Holding and is active in the reprocessing of automotive shredder residue (ASR). The various end products can be reused in industrial processes or as secondary raw materials. The annual capacity of ARN Recycling is currently around 40,000 tonnes of shredder residue in semi-continuous service. In its operations, ARN Recycling pays special attention to the environment and endeavours to limit the environmental impact on the air, soil and water as much as possible. We aim to achieve this by actively cleaning emitted air and limiting the amount of waste to be dumped. Both the quantity and the degree of dirtiness of waste water discharged into the sewers will also be limited as far as possible. All of these measures will fall within the legal framework with respect to legislation and regulations. ARN Recycling sees it as its duty to supply products and services that meet customer requirements and expectations in an economically responsible manner. In addition, it is our objective to continually improve our organization, the quality of our products and services and the work environment and to minimize or completely prevent the burden on the environment. To this end, one or more quantifiable objectives have been defined in a target matrix and monitored for every level and relevant function in the organisation. These are the underlying principles: - Within their field of work, quality, environmental and safety management are the personal responsibility of all employees. Everyone will therefore receive the necessary knowledge and resources to handle their responsibility. - All activities will be structured in such a way that national legislation and regulations are complied with. - Reduction of environmental burdens remains a central theme. - Providing our customers and suppliers with a high service level. In order to remain competitive, we must be prepared for the customers’ continually increasing demands. - Securing the continuity of production through continuous improvement. - Working with motivated employees by focusing on personal well-being and safety within an organisation with an eye for order & tidiness. In order to be able to implement this policy and to ensure that the targets set are achieved, a quality and environmental management system has been introduced that complies with the requirements of the NEN ISO 9001 & 14001 standard series. This policy statement will be revised annually, or earlier if the situation requires, is freely accessible and will be made available to anyone who requests a copy.
