8. Rally Show Santa Domenica, 24. - 26. November 2017., Sveta Nedelja-Savršćak PRESS RELEASE NO. 1 17. October 2017. Are you ready for a comeback to the gravel? This year we have prepared a lot of novelty and surprises, but for now we will reveal only few of them. As you could already see we have some new visuals and a brand new RSSD logo. We have left the rally table from the 2010 in the ancient past, as well as the number of 40 participants that attended that first speed test. Application list that overtops the max 120 drivers for years, countless audience that grows one year after another and being recognized by the press and media are the most valuable evidence of us being up to this demanding task. Furthermore, faithful followers know that every year there are a few new WRC and R5 automobiles here on Savršćak, which does not decrease atractivness of other classes cars like Lada, Yugo, Trabant etc., standing next to the old ones that always come back. With the evident progress of this enthusiastic project came the need for new visual solutions to match the success. Through last 8 years RSSD became sort of a brand on its own so it was suitable to make the logo out of the acronym. For the first time ever we organized warm up for the RSSD. Meet up called Rally taxi, for friends of RSSD and ACK Sveta Nedelja was held on 7th of October on lake Orešje in Sveta Nedelja. Five members of our club did more than 200 taxi drives for everyone who had enough courage to be a co-pilote to Nenad Lončarić (Subaru Impreza STI), Marko Lončarić and Juraj Šebalj (Subaru Legacy GT), Daniel Vojvodić (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III), Boris Beraković (Toyota Celica GT-4) or Antun Vrbanović (Škoda Favorit). We have proved that rally, especially the one on macadam ground, is a challenging car racing discipline for reason called the queen of automoto sport, nevertheless the amount of adrenaline provoked by it is priceless. 8.RSSD will traditionally take place on the last weekend in November. Opening party is on Friday 24th of November, Saturday is reserved for one of the numerous novelties-Shakedown on lake Orešje and tradicional ceremonial start, on Sunday there will be a special gravel treat, starting at 8:05 am. Entry list is open, gravel is ready and 8.RSSD & last weekend in November are circled in your calendars!
