Designs 45t "Eendracht" (later issued as 70t), 70t "Neva" (as 45t), 80t "San Pedrico" (as 35t) & K2 "Merrie England". Issued stamps were photogravure by Courvoisier on granite paper. The unissued sets of 4 were supplied to PNG Post new issue agents overseas in advance of issue date, & the agent in USA managed to sell 42 sets "in error" before the issue was recalled & all stocks officially destroyed.
