PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Input Requested for Fulton County Proposed FY 2013 Substantial Amendments as part of the overall Fulton County 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 Annual Action Plan
In compliance with regulations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fulton County Housing and Human Services Department has released for public comment the draft proposed FY2013 Substantial Amendments as part of the 2010 – 2014 Consolidated Plan and Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 Annual Action Plan. The Substantial Amendments cover the funding of projects such as: Public Services, Housing Rehabilitation, Emergency Shelter, Public Facilities and Infrastructures, Slum and Blight, Economic Development, Program Administration, and Acquisition and Rehabilitation of Foreclosed/Abandoned/Blighted properties. HUD requires each jurisdiction to conduct a citizen participation process regarding Substantial Amendments in accordance with the jurisdiction’s citizen participation plan.
The County encourages all citizens and other interested parties to review the Substantial Amendments and to submit their written comments no later than Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. The public comment period will occur for a thirty (30) day period. The comment period starts on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 and concludes Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 5:00 PM. A receipt of all comments received will be submitted in the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to HUD by Monday, March 31, 2014.
