Up, Up and Away
The National Geographic Channel made a house fly by using helium balloons just like in the movie “UP.” The house was able to carry two people while it flew. The house needed 300 helium balloons and one tank of helium for each balloon. Each balloon was attached to a string, which was eight feet long. By the work of two pilots, the house flew over California’s “ Mojave Desert ” for a full hour. Wouldn’t it be awesome to ride in a flying house?

Cloning Ancient Trees
When faced with natural disasters like the one recently in Japan it leaves scientists thinking, "How can we help our planet?" Scientists have recently answered that question, which they are now going to clone ancient trees. By cloning ancient trees, it will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide, and increase the amount of oxygen in the air. Scientists have recently started to create a clone, but this is just a start.

Spring Baskets: The Complete Guide to Making Them Yourself
If you need help deciding on what to put in a spring basket, this guide is here to help! It will tell you what, and where to get the best things for making a spring basket for certain ages! You should never spend more than $30.00 on making a basket, and this guide will show you how! After reading this, you will see that making your own basket is better and cheaper than buying a premade one.
For toddlers: Toddlers cannot have candy yet, so good things to put in their baskets are medium and large sized stuffed animals, and snacks, such as fruit snacks, crackers, and other healthy treats, which you can find at Target, on the baby aisle. The best brand to buy from is “Gerber” which is made especially for toddlers. They have healthy, delicious snacks that are perfect for toddlers!
For 7-9 year olds: Boys at this age usually only want candy, money, and maybe a video game in their basket. The best places to go to are Target and Big Lots. Big Lots has good candy and video games usually for $20.00 or less, and Target has great deals on candy and video games too! Girls expect candy, money, and maybe a toy in their basket. The best places to go are Target, Big Lots, and Toys R Us.
10 year olds and up: 10 year old children, both boys and girls, like money, and A LOT of candy in their basket. The best place to get special Easter candy is the Dollar Tree, because they have a huge supply of Easter candy for a very little cost!
Adults: You can put some cologne in a basket for an adult such as Adidas, Ax, or Blue Water. These are affordable colognes to wear to special events. For people who like to smell good, these are the colognes to put in their basket. You will enjoy the smell just as much as your parent.
I hope this guide helps make your basket shopping easy and affordable!

Need a little help figuring out the aria or the circumference? Here is a song that is guaranteed to help you memorize the formulas. If you can’t figure out the tune, ask a 6th grader to sing it to you.
Circumference and Area
(Beat: Billionaire Song)
I want to find the circumference,
Just multiply,
Using the diameter and pi.
If you just have the radius,
Multiply by two.
This is something easy you can do.
Oh every time the area is found,
Make sure you use the formula,
Multiply pi times radius squared,
I hope you are prepared!
For when the area is found.
Oooh, oooh
For when the area is found!
(Area=3.14 x r)
Here is another song that will help you make sense of Mean, Median, Mode, Range, and Outliers (:
--------------------------------------------
(Beat to Black Eyed Peas Song)
The mean is then average,
This is very simple,
Add them all together,
Then you just divide.
Divide, divide, divide, divide, divide,
Check it out!
The median sounds like middle,
Put them all in order, from the least to greatest,
Pick the middle one.
You’re done, You’re done,
Lets learn one more for fun!
The mode is the number,
That you see the most.
The mode, the mode, the mode, the MOST!
Check it out!
The range you get the big one,
Subtract it by the small one.
Now you found your answer
Which is called the range.
The range, the range, the range, the range, the range!
Outliers are liar,
No one likes a liar,
They don’t make any sense,
No sense, no sense, no sense,
No sense, no sense.
CHECK IT OUT!!

Is Brett Favre really retiring?
BRETT FAVRE RETIRING;
The future hall of fame quarterback said that he would once again retire at the age of 41. When he first started, he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as a 2nd Draft pick, then he was traded to the Green Bay Packers, where he stood for 16 years. Farve started a legend with 3 M. V. P awards [1996, 1997 and 1998] and then retired, and then came back. Green Bay was fine with Aaron Rodgers as their new quarterback, so Favre got a job with the New York Jets, on a one year contract. After a year with the Jets, Favre was released and got a 2year contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Favre Led the Vikings to the playoffs, now in 2011 Favre says that he will retire.
