   Administrative fee is $75.00 per session for Carman-Ainsworth High School, Atlantis and Carman-Park Baker students for credit recovery. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration – Cash, Money Order, or Credit Card payments are accepted (no personal checks). There are no scholarships available for summer school as the course portion of the cost is being covered by district funding for credit recovery. Refunds will be made if a class is canceled because of low enrollment or if a student requests a refund (see dates in table below).

   Non-Carman-Ainsworth students may take courses for a fee of $300 per session, but will need permission from their home school to verify that the credits will transfer. The fee for Carman-Ainsworth students taking a course that is not for credit recovery will be charged $300 per session.
   
3. 
   Each semester course is one half (0.5) unit of high school credit. If a student completes a class early, they may take one additional class with instructor approval (based on time remaining) at no additional charge.
   
4. 
   All classes will meet at Carman-Ainsworth High School, 1300 N. Linden Road, Flint, MI 48532. Report to the high school cafeteria on the first day for room assignments.
   
5. 
   Students must have their own transportation as CAHS bus service is not provided.
   
6. 
   The summer school staff reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is low.
   
7. 
   Students must have signed approval of their parent, and counselor or principal before enrolling in the program.
   
8. 
   The Carman-Ainsworth High School Student Code of Conduct will apply to all summer school student activities, including the student’s AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) for computer use.
   
9. 
   If a student misses more than four (4) times per class, he/she may be dropped from the class (excused or unexcused) with no refund. Students are expected to be on time and must be in attendance for the full class to be considered present.
   
10. 
    The summer school program operates as a “closed campus.” Students must remain in the Carman-Ainsworth High School area during scheduled class time. Break time is to be taken only in the designated break areas. Summer school students will not be allowed in their cars at break time.
    
11. 
    Textbooks will be provided, if needed, without charge. All textbooks must be returned before the final grades are processed at the end of the session.
