May 14, 2015 The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Press Release 7 Teams Head to Basketball Atlantic Championships The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association have 7 teams competing this weekend at the U14 and U13 Boys’ and Girls’ Atlantic Championships in Charlottetown, PEI. Clubs participating include: U13 girls’ from Goulds Hoopsters and Square-Up Basketball, U13 boys’ from Feildians Minor Basketball; U14 girls’ from Mount Pearl Minor Basketball and Square-UP Basketball; and the U14 boys’ from Feildians Minor Basketball and Mount Pearl Minor Basketball. Competition gets underway Friday with the finals slated for Sunday. -30-
