As we interact with government departments, some of them have expressed an interest in conducting Attitudinal Change workshops for their staff members. If you can organise any, do let us know with details such as :

Personal blog: www.avanti-pune.blogspot.com/ More details on programme : We can design workshops of all sorts of people - disabled, not disabled, teachers - for the disabled and otherwise, companies - which can employ the disabled, etc. Content and duration would depend on the target audience entirely. The first workshop we did lasted 2 days and the audience was general. The next one we are planning is for teachers of the deaf and will last one day and the content will be teacher specific. So it really depends on what the audience is, wants and needs. Profiles of those conducting programme - Available in the link I sent you yesterday. Rest assured, they will be certified and/or experienced in whatver disability or subject they address and tackle. Batch size - again depends on subject matter and disability/ies being discussed and the aim we are trying to achieve. We could have a huge audience of 100 in an auditorium and talk about integration and inclusion or we could have small batches of HR personnel from companies to explain how they can help the current status of the disabled by providing special or regular jobs to suit their qualifications and capabilities. Facilities - The venue and boarding and lodging - if possible for the visiting faculty, a laptop for the PP programmes and a projector. Can update depending on the workshop itself. Fees - Since AVANTI is a small ( and non profit ofcourse) group still and we have organised the first workshop using our personal funds and are not yet big enough to register as an NGO and find sponsors, we'll work on the fees and present you with a very nominal package for your approval.As for testimonials and references and any other information you might need, Anita Iyer-9823513415 Email : avanti-pune@hotmail.com
