REFERENCES Please list below the names of your three references. The references should include at least one faculty member from your college and a previous supervisor or employer. Where applicable, please include references from a professional and a lay leader from a Jewish Community Center. Reference letters written by friends or relatives will not be accepted. You are to contact and request your own reference letters which are to be mailed by the reference writer to JCC Association. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all letters of reference are received by February 15, 2010.
ESSAY STATEMENTS A critical component of the application process is the creation of an essay describing your interests and career goals. Additionally, you will choose one of three JCC related case studies and submit your take on the situation presented. The three case studies and directions for completion can be found on the website: http://www.jccworks.com/?PageID=gM28CBC3 Your essay and case study provide the selection committee with samples of your writing skills. The reader gains insight to your interest in JCC work and your understanding of the JCC Movement. Essay There are four areas that your essay must cover:
