ESSAY STATEMENTS
A critical component of the application process is the creation of an essay describing your interests and career goals. These statements provide the selection committee with samples of your writing skills.

The reader gains insight to your interest in JCC work and your understanding of the JCC Movement.


Essay
There are four areas that your essay must cover:

  1. Your specific area of expertise as a JCC professional

  2. How you’ve grown as a professional since you started your JCC career

  3. What contribution you hope to make as a JCC professional as a result of your education

  4. Describe your ideal future career path within the JCC Movement

Please title it “Essay -- Your Name”. Be sure that it does not exceed three double-spaced pages. It must be typed and emailed to Shecht@jcca.org with the rest of your application.
