Habitat for Humanity Nov 3 Taste of the Town
Any member knowing of an event they would like to inform the membership about, please give me the info and I will publish it in the bulletin.
PRESIDENTS TALK: President John Welcomed the RYLANs and then turned the meeting over to Dino for the RYLAN introduction
SPEAKER: Dino was the host of the RYLANs today and introduced them all to the membership. Displaying a new self-confidence, each RYLAN stood and addressed the group, telling of their favorite moments at the conference, relating how “awesome” it was and thanking the Club for it’s support. Bill Bishop also thanked the Club for its efforts with the students. After the intros, Dino spoke about the natural world around us and asked the kids to “Enjoy their time in the Sun”. This year we were able to send seven students to RYLA, quite an accomplishment.
The students were: SHS:Faith Macharia, Kristina Yaede, Trey Salce, Kelsey Aponte. BP: Nathan Youngs, Ben Champhey, Gabrielle Bailey.
