Social Issues Assignment
Access to Education (Pakistan)
Course: DV2554

Introduction
Education is critical for the growth of any nation or country. Education is critical to the success rate of a society's growth, which leads to the country. Historically, Pakistan had a low literacy rate, but this has changed with time, and the literacy rate has increased. In this overview, we will discuss the fundamental socioeconomic concern in Pakistan, which is "Access to Education" Besides that, while Pakistan's literacy rate has grown, access to education remains quite limited in some places. There are several factors, such as cultural differences, gender preferences, and a variety of other obstacles that prevent parents from providing their children with a proper education. In Pakistan, education has essentially become a business in which different sectors, whether commercial or public, have their own branding. Furthermore, there is an educational minister sector in Pakistan where the whole discipline is written and determined as one for all sectors, but they still have their own regulations for fees and dues, which might limit access to education for all people because everyone cannot pay it.
Culture values and norms- access to education
Let us discuss about the obstacles and factors that limit access to education. The first issue is the diversity of culture indifferent places of Pakistan. For example, in certain communities, females are not allowed to attend school due to their own conventions and customs that they have followed for years. They think that girls should only be used for housework and should not be allowed to attend school. This way of thinking and culture hinder females' access to education, giving rise to another societal issue gender discrimination. In any case, this is one of the issues that limit females' access to school in such locations. The very important other reason for limiting this access is that there are very diplomatic rules out In their culture which is that when girls get access to education they go outgo for the job the vacancies for the boys in their region will go down which is the big loss for them in terms of their income because they think that boys there work more harder and has more right to get education for increasing the source of income so they themselves limit access to education for girls in their areas.
