Golden Jubilee celebration program was held on 19.12.2014. Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. Of West Bengal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Among other distinguished guests Professor Dr. Suranjan Das, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, C.U. was present.
Cultural program was held in which eminent Bengali singer, Sri Raghab Chattopadhyay presented popular and classical based songs.

Blood testing camp for carrier of Thalassemia was organised by NSS unit.

Honours Courses started in Zoology and Hindi from 2014-15 academic year. New subject, Geography was introduced as UG general course.

PG courses in Mathematics, Economics, Bengali, English, History, Environmental Studies and Commerce started under the Distance Learning Scheme of Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, W.B.

New Campus renovated and utilised for holding classes of PG courses. Geography Laboratory and class rooms are also accommodated in the said campus.

Small scale Vermicomposting Unit is established in the Zoology Laboratory.

Along with regular program UGC sponsored National Conference on “Environmental Impacts on Health: Towards a Better Future” was held on 27-28 March, 2015.

Initiative is taken to introduce Multidisciplinary Bilingual Academic Journal.

Smt. Saheli Mukherjee, Lecturer, Momovikas Kendra, Kolkata has been appointed as Students’ Counsellor in the month of May, 2014.

Prasanta Bose Memorial Lecture Series initiated on 30th October, 2014. The First lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ranjan Chakrabarti, Hon’ble V.C., Vidyasagar University. Famous Oncologist, Dr. Sankar Kumar Nath delivered an educative and relevant lecture on “Food and Cancer”.

A seminar on “21st Century Ethics: Values and Dimensions” was conducted on 06.08.2014.
Seminar on “Cyber Crime” was proposed to be held within 1 or 2 months.
I.Q.A.C., Bangabasi Morning College organised the above events.
14. UGC sponsored State Level Seminar on “Corporate Fraud and its Impacts on Indian Business Environment ” was organised by Department of Commerce, Bangabasi Morning College in collaboration with Department of Commerce, C.U. on March 17, 2015.
UGC sponsored National Conference on “Environmental Impacts on Health: Towards a Better Future” was held in collaboration with Das Research Centre and Clinical Laboratory on 27-28 March, 2015.
An International Seminar on Context and Culture in our Language Classrooms was organised by the Department of English, Bangabasi Morning College in collaboration with American Centre on February 9, 2015.
15. Remedial teaching conducted department wise.
Experienced retired teachers of Bangabasi Morning College and other colleges are invited for special classes.
16. Initiative taken to introduce the courses in collaboration with George Animatrix.
17. Women Cell was constituted in July, 2014. It consists of representatives of Teaching and Non-teaching Staff, Students, and also members from NGO.
18. Activities of the Alumni Association continue.
19. Construction of new toilet for girl students is not yet completed.
20. Resolution is taken for setting CCTV as a safety measure at the earliest.
