The Chuck Nation Band made their Carnegie Hall debut performance in New York City in 2015, and will perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN in April 2016. Chuck is a member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame, a two-time Georgia State Fiddle Champion, Georgia State Mandolin Champion, and a Louisiana State Fiddle Champion. The band made their second international tour in 2014 covering sixteen cities in Ireland, and has performed over 450 shows since 2010. Close harmony singing and superb instrumental playing are the hallmarks of their distinctive sound. Whether it’s old favorites, modern songs, or original material, the Chuck Nation Band delivers top grade music that engages and entertains an audience from the first moment they take the stage.
Chuck Nation, from Gainesville, GA, has performed across the U.S. and in 17 countries. In addition to his singing and songwriting skills, Chuck is equally skilled at playing fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar. Chuck has performed at the Grand Old Opry, New Orleans World’s Fair, Savannah Music Festival, Carnegie Hall, Smoke On The Mountain, Always Patsy Cline, and The High Lonesome Mass. He has opened shows for a diverse list of folks ranging from Ernest Tubb to Mother Maybelle Carter, Mac Davis, John Hartford, Charley Pride, John Anderson, Bill Monroe, and many more.
Chuck was a member of the historic band from Louisville, Kentucky—The Bluegrass Alliance (whose alumni includes Vince Gill, Sam Bush, & Tony Rice)—which paved the way for the modern “Newgrass” music style. Besides being an in-demand studio musician for others, Chuck has recorded 2 solo projects: Fiddle Favorites and One Man Band.
Susan Nation is an acclaimed singer and songwriter who has performed Bluegrass, Americana, and Gospel music around the world. Much of the band’s repertoire comes from her published songwriting skills. She founded her own publishing company, Only One Nation Music, and her songs have been recorded by folks such as Gary “Biscuit” Davis, former bandleader for Dolly Parton, and others. Susan’s singing and her solid bass playing skills provide a firm foundation to the band. She is an audience favorite, and along with Chuck has performed at the New Orleans World's Fair, Savannah Music Festival, Carnegie Hall, toured Japan and Ireland, and played in countless churches, conferences, and festivals.
Jody Hughes is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Marietta, GA, who teaches private and online music lessons, and has performed bluegrass, solo jazz guitar, and popular music in various ensembles throughout the Southeast. He has performed at the Grand Old Opry, Merlefest, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Jody is a Merlefest Banjo Competition winner, and a three-time winner of the Georgia State Championship on both guitar and banjo.
Libby Nation sings, writes, and plays many instruments equally well, has performed on Late Night with David Letterman, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Oprah Winfrey’s Oscar party, Royal Albert Hall in London, and has toured professionally as a pianist in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. Libby teaches piano, guitar, and voice to a full schedule of students in Atlanta.

Steve Vincent is a multi-talented musician who has played with Liberace, Benny Goodman, Boots Randolph, Floyd Cramer, and was a member of the Chattanooga Symphony for 15 years. In addition to performing with the Chuck Nation Band, Steve is the on-call drummer for many other groups, plays drums weekly in the Presbyterian Church, and is a member of the Georgia Mountain Fair Staff Band.

What Others Are Saying…
"The set showcased their considerable talents as singers and instrumentalists.  Ending with a red-hot Orange Blossom Special, that old classic where "Paganini meets Bluegrass" in a rousing display of fiddling pyrotechnics at breakneck speed, Chuck Nation "burned the house down" as the sparks flew off his bow in a jaw-dropping virtuosic fiddling display. The audience loved it and roared in approval." - New York Concert Review, Carnegie Hall performance
