Dear prospective sponsor,

The Connecticut Wolves Hockey Organization and the “Do It Right” Foundation, Inc. (501c3) are non-profit organizations created by Mr. Dan McCarthy and are dedicated to the development of competitive amateur hockey and to provide educational opportunities through the sport of hockey in the State of Connecticut. We are initiating a corporate sponsorship program and are asking for your help.
Who are the Connecticut Wolves?
Mr. Dan McCarthy, President of the Wolves Organization, was born in St. Mary’s, Ontario, and played in the Canadian Junior Leagues until the age of 20. Thereafter, he went on to a stellar 9-year professional career highlighted by his time spent with the New York Rangers. Drawing from his insights, wealth of experience and the personal relationships that he developed during his playing career, Dan developed the Connecticut Junior Wolves Hockey Club in 1998. The purpose of this program was to develop and showcase student-athletes (ages 16-20) in order to make them eligible for college placement, as well as, scholarship opportunities. Over the past 7 seasons, the Wolves and the Do It Right Foundation have positioned our junior players at every level of college play, and have helped our players receive in excess of $500,000 in scholarships and financial aid packages.
The overall goal of our organization is not only for our youth and junior hockey players to develop a true and lasting love for the game, but to also stress the importance of education and it’s major role in athletics. Teaching sportsmanship, leadership, discipline, and respect are the primary objectives of each coach, team, and parent, and the entire Connecticut Wolves organization. We want you to help us “Do It Right” for our kids throughout Connecticut.
To achieve this, the purpose of the Connecticut Wolves will be driven by three major themes: community, development, and education.
