Grading Exams In order to grade Edusoft exams automatically school districts need to purchase a scanner compatible with the Edusoft platform. We recommend that districts purchase one scanner per 1000 – 2000 students at each school site. Currently, the Edusoft platform supports the Brother MFC-8460N, MFC-8440, DCP-8060, DCP-8040 and the DCP-8045D Multifunction machines. Once districts purchase the device, the scanner must be installed on a Windows 2000 or XP computer with Internet 6.0 or higher. Instructions on installing the scanner and the Edusoft grading software can be found under the Administrator Tab in your Edusoft account.
