Kathy Flamson from the RC of Calistoga was named as our District 5130 Governor Designate for 2018-2019.
The 2018-2019 Rotary International Theme is” Rotary Makes a Difference”
RC of Glen Ellen-Kenwood will be announcing its 2018-2019 President Designate at the Board Meeting January 25.
All members are being asked to sell tickets and business card sponsors for the Crabfeed in the Cave, as well as finding live and silent auction items
Crushers of Comedy standup comedy will be held on January 28 at the Krug Event Center 5550 Second St. West in Sonoma. Tickets are $20.00 in advance at:

We seem to be missing many of your club name badges. Please try to find yours at home or in the car or let Kathleen know so we may order you a new one.
OUR NEW HOME
We have changed our meeting schedule to twice a month and are meeting at the Kenwood Depot 314 Warm Springs Road in Kenwood on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. We will still be meeting from 5:30-7:00. We will be there until further notice.

Adam Reyes has the Foundation Board game up and running for our next meeting. Each square is only $10.00 and after the board is filled the winner will get a fully paid $1,000.00 Paul Harris Foundation Pin and recognition. Please bring your check books to pay for your squares. You may purchase as many as you like!
DUNBAR FOOD PROGRAM
The program provides food help for some 24 kids and their families every Friday at Dunbar Elementary.
We need help in moving the food on Fridays from Sonoma Boys and Girls Club in Sonoma to Dunbar School from 1:00 to 3:00 as well as staffing the 4:00-5:00 shift to hand out the bags.

Our speaker was Holland Gistell is from the Sonoma Ecology Center. She has served the Sonoma Community since 2014 and be spoke on a new community project that will bring people together to reduce flood risks, water pollution, save water, and improve habitat called “NeWt’s”.
Their vision statement is: We envision a future where people, land, water, and wildlife thrive.
Their m is: To work with our community and to identify and lead in environmental use by forming neighborhood water teams.
They will be working on water quality, actions, plans, and chosen actions.

February 1 we will hear Michelle Davis co-founder of G3 Sonoma which is an organization that focuses on the work-life balance, self image, and well being of women.
