Latin American Association and Lazos to Host the 27th Annual Career Expo and Bilingual Job Fair Saturday, May 2
What: The Latin American Association (LAA) and its subsidiary Lazos will host the 27th Annual Career Expo, Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Outreach Center.
The Career Expo is Atlanta’s premier bilingual job fair. Employers seek to fill entry-level positions, semi-professional and professional job openings. This event is free to all job seekers but registration is required at www.laajobbank.com or by phone at 404-638-0393. Attendees should dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes.
“With the tough economic situation that we are facing, this Career Expo is more important that ever for job seekers. This year we have 30 companies that are participating because they have positions available and they are ready to hire and interview on the spot,” said Millie Irizarry, C.E.O. of the Latin American Association. “It’s uplifting to know that companies truly understand the importance of employing a qualified and bilingual workforce.”

El Career Expo es la feria más completa para candidatos bilingües. Las compañías buscan llenar puestos de niveles principiantes y oportunidades semiprofesionales y profesionales. El evento es gratis, pero se necesita inscribirte a www.laajobbank.com o por teléfono a 404-638-0393. Los asistentes deben vestirse profesionalmente y deben traer copias de su hoja de vida.
“Ya que estamos enfrentando una crisis económica, esta feria de trabajo tiene más importancia que nunca,” dijo Millie Irizarry, presidenta de la Asociación Latinoamericana. “Estamos muy contentos de ver la participación de compañías las cuales verdaderamente entienden la importancia de emplear una fuerza laboral bilingüe y diversa.”
